Eight Sleep Pod 6

Eight Sleep's current cover + Hub system

$$~$2899

Our Verdict

Eight Sleep's current water-cooled cover and Hub: dual-zone 55–110°F on Standard, wearable-free tracking, and a one-sleeper Solo size at US $1,999. Autopilot is required for the first year ($199–$399/yr in the US) and warranty depends on an active membership, so budget the software over 3–5 years. US $2,899 list (Standard Queen).

      In-Depth Review

What Is the Eight Sleep Pod 6?

The Pod 6 is Eight Sleep's current smart mattress cover system, on sale since September 23, 2026. It's a ~1" water Cover plus a Hub that go on your existing mattress; it isn't a mattress. Standard sizes are dual-zone (55–110°F, independent sides), and new Solo sizes cover one sleeper.

      How It Works

The Hub heats or cools water and circulates it through the Cover. Per Eight Sleep, the Hub is about half the size of the previous one, fits under most bed frames, has a 550 W thermal engine and primes in about 5 minutes with no tank. Autopilot, Eight Sleep's membership, adjusts temperatures automatically and unlocks sleep and health reports, vibration and thermal alarms, and software updates.

      Key Features

      • Standard (dual-zone): Full, Queen, King and Cali King
      • Solo: one-sleeper sizing at $1,999 US; members can later add a second Solo (per Eight Sleep)
      • Autopilot required for the first 12 months: US $199 / $299 / $399 per year (Standard / Enhanced / Elite)
      • Warranty: 2-year limited; 5-year only with Enhanced or Elite; an active membership and a direct purchase are required
      • 30-night trial
      • Optional add-ons (US list): Blanket $999, Base $1,999, Pillow Cover $999

Prices (US list, verified October 8, 2026)

      • Solo: $1,999
      • Standard: Full $2,699 · Queen $2,899 · King/Cali King $2,999
      • Illustrative 5-year cost for a Standard Queen with Enhanced Autopilot: about $4,394

What Published Research and Owner Reviews Say

This summary is based on Eight Sleep's published specifications, pricing and policies, plus our 5-year cost comparison. We haven't used it ourselves and don't run lab tests. Performance figures such as the faster thermal response and sensor counts are Eight Sleep's own claims and haven't been independently verified here. Sources and the full 5-year cost table are in our full Pod 6 review.

      The Bottom Line

The Pod 6 is the Eight Sleep to buy new if you want automatic temperature control and wearable-free tracking, and you'll keep the membership for 3–5 years. Choose Standard for couples and Solo for one sleeper. If you refuse recurring software, a no-subscription option such as Sleepme's Chilipad or BedJet is a better fit. Frequently Asked Questions

      Common questions about this topic

No. It's a ~1" water Cover and a Hub that go on your existing mattress.
Standard for couples who want dual-zone. Solo for one sleeper or one side, at $1,999 US. Don't buy Solo expecting dual-zone unless you'll add a second Solo later.
It's required for the first 12 months (US $199–$399/yr). After you cancel, manual temperatures typically remain, but schedules, reports and alarms drop, and warranty coverage needs an active membership.
Pod 6 for new purchases: it's what Eight Sleep's main shop sells, with Solo sizes, a smaller Hub and a lower US list price. Consider a Pod 5 only if it's deeply discounted or used and you already accept Autopilot.
No. Temperature control can make hot sleepers more comfortable, but it doesn't treat sleep disorders or the cause of night sweats. See a doctor about ongoing trouble sleeping, loud snoring or gasping, or night sweats that soak your sheets in a cool room.
